So my make today is a Mother’s Day stepper card.  I thought that the gorgeous CINDERS, with her 2 rodent ‘hairy kids’, looked rather maternal so would suit.  Awwww!

Digi Choosday Challenge – Cool Blues!

Good morning!  How is everyone, well I hope?

It is Choosday which means it’s time for a new challenge over at DIGI CHOOSDAY and our theme this time is Cool Blues! I do love Kraft card and I think it was the perfect choice to accompany some of the stunning papers and elements from the EDEN BIG KAHUNA BUNDLE. 

Now my card also features the gorgeous RED RIDING HOOD who is having a bit of an identity crisis as she is dressed in blue. Poor love! Have to say I had a bit of a meltdown over the background though.  Not too sure WHAT I was trying to achieve here but what’s done is done and my New Year’s resolution is not to let my crafty fails bug me so much.  So…in the words of Taylor Swift “I’m gonna shake it off!” J

Digi Choosday Challenge – Week 29: For a Girl!

Hello!  Big hugs everyone!

So I’m a girl (I use the ladies room so I must be) and there is nothing I like more than a good handbag (unfortunately this is not a good handbag J I’d NEVER get my purse in this!!) so I thought I would create one by taking a 6x6 card and trimming it down.

The image is the wonderful ODDELLA WITH BAG who I tried to colour to match the stunning papers from the EDEN COLLECTION.  Quite why she has blue skin is anyone’s guess but she does have a zombie look, bless her, so it seemed appropriate. Or maybe she’s feeling a bit blue as she can’t get her purse in this bag either!! J

And talking of irresistible look at this uber gorgeous image from the very talented Nikky Hall! What a beauty she is! Her name is EDEN FAIRY WINGS and she is available individually or as part of the amazing value EDEN BIG KAHUNA BUNDLE.

Using elements from the BUNDLE I decided to decorate a gift bag.  I dry embossed the background paper and the gorgeous butterflies using two different embossing folders and heat embossed to frame the image with gold Frantage and Halo Glitter.
