My choice of image this time is the utterly fabulous GENIE SCOTTIE who I added to a stepper card along with the MAGICAL DAY SENTIMENT.

So men’s cards, eh! What to do….

Well I chose to use the very arresting (!) POLICEMAN PETE for my manly make this week and taking elements from WORK AND PLAY 3 I created a little crime scene. “Nothing to see here people;  move along please!!”

Our super cute lawman has expertly tackled the criminal who is currently lying unconscious on the floor ruing the day he ever came up against PETE.  Serves him right quite frankly!

Another dodgy drawing from me that does look rather like the legs and boots of Frankenstein’s monster!! Hey ho! J

Ingredients:

Image: POLICEMAN PETE Who is also available as a clear stamp here.

Brick Paper: WORK AND PLAY 4

Car, Swag Bag and Sentiments (also image):  WORK AND PLAY 3

Dies: Tattered Lace alphabet

Card: Neenah Solar White

Delightful Wednesday – Fantasy/Fairy Tales!

Hello there! Hope all is well with you and yours!

It is my turn today to show a Wednesday project on the DIGITAL DELIGHTS BLOG and the theme Sandy and I chose for August is Fantasy/Fairy Tales!

I used the gorgeous DELIGHTFUL SNOW which is a great value set as it comes with the toadstool for Snow to sit on and a sentiment too! I decided to make a diorama/shadow box/theatre card thingy (not its real name) to create a little woodland scene.

I thought it might be nice to add the seven dwarves too, all of which are played with gusto by MR GNOME who is also available for children’s parties and supermarket openings!!! J Does look a tad crowded in there though doesn't it!!

Bet you can spot them all!  Well it's not exactly ‘Where’s Wally’ is it?!

Ingredients:

Image, Toadstool and Sentiment: DELIGHTFUL SNOW

All 7 Dwarves: Soon to be Oscar nominated MR GNOME

Dies: Couture ‘Enchanted Escapes’- Spellbinders ‘Cherry Blossom’ and ‘Floral Border’- Die’sire ‘Icicles

Punches: X-Cut small flower

Paper/Card: Neenah Solar White – Centura Pearl – Cloud paper from POLKADOODLES WORK AND PLAY 3

Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers & pencils – Mowed Lawn and Barn Door DI

Others: Toadstool decorations

So ‘whistle while you work’ and if you haven't a ‘gnome’ to go to wonder over to the DIGITAL DELIGHTS BLOG where every day there is something to inspire you and don't forget to visit the SHOP for all of Wendy’s gorgeous designs! They'll help you to live happily ever after!!!

Hello!  Big hugs to all!

It’s Choosday so it’s time for a new challenge over at DIGI CHOOSDAY and our theme this week is Embellish It, so get out all those lovely things we buy by the truck load but never want to use and join us! The entire thing is made using the awesome and must-have WINSTON DELUXE FULL COLLECTION! It is jam-packed with the most delicious papers and embellies known to craft kind!!

The Paper Nest Dolls Challenge #8!

Hello! How is everyone? Good I hope!

So today launches our new monthly challenge over on THE PAPER NEST DOLLS CHALLENGE BLOG and our theme as always is Anything Goes! Once again we are sponsored by the wonderful…

…who are also offering this a fab prize……

… so check out THE BLOG for all the details!

Now my image this week is part of the JULY NEW RELEASE and her name is ARTIST EMMA! What a sweetheart!  I suppose to embrace the spirit of the subject matter I should have made an ‘easel’ card, but I didn’t. Hey ho!

I wandered a little out of my comfort zone with this one.  I used my Aqua Tints to create ‘painty’ backing papers and coloured EMMA and a splodgey background with Inktense Pencils which I haven’t used for ages.  Hmmm… more practice methinks!

It is unfortunate that Emma’s artistic skills were very much reliant on my own so I don’t really rate her ‘effort’ as seen on my homemade easel (more Pitiful then Picasso).  But she did try, bless her so you gotta luv her for that!!! J

Ingredients:

Image: ARTIST EMMA

Sentiment: POLKADOODLES WORK AND PLAY 11

Dies/Punches: Tonic ‘Nesting Rectangles’

Card: Crafters Companion Water Colour Card – Kraft - Various from stash

Colouring/Ink:  Inktense Pencils – Spectrum Noir Aqua Tints – Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers DI

Others: Pearls

Hopeless Hand drawings (making a thankfully brief return J!): Easel painting - Paintbrushes

So be sure to take ‘art’ in our Anything Goes Challenge by visiting the blog and you will also see some stunning inspiration from the DT there too. And don’t forget to visit the shop for all of Christine’s adorable stamps!! There is a CHRISTMAS IN JULY NEW RELEASE too!!

Thanks so much for looking and for your lovely comments and have a wonderful day!
