The Pencil Case - F = Fierce!

Hello! How is everyone? Good I hope! I’m off to our local fireworks display later and I’m really looking forward to it.  I luuuurve fireworks!  I’m lucky that my dogs are not too bothered by them.  They bark at the first ‘whoosh bang!’ then sleep through the rest! J

Ok, this is the weekend right? Yes? Oh wow, well I don’t usually post on a Saturday but that is about to change as I am beyond thrilled to announce that I have been asked to join the uber talented ladies over on THE PENCIL CASE , showcasing the awesome LYRA REMBRANDT POLYCOLOR PENCILS  Whoooo hoooo!

As anyone brave enough to visit my blog will know I have been using these incredible pencils for about a month now and find it almost impossible to use anything else.  I was totally blown away by them, their ease of blending and their vibrant rich colours; they have even managed to make me look halfway competent at colouring which is saying something!! J

So for my very first challenge as part of this fabulous team (happy dance!!) the theme is F = Fierce! So get out those 'fierce' colours and colour yourself silly!!  You can use ANY medium you like to join in.

Ok off we go then.  So when saw the image I was lucky enough to work with (another happy dance!!) I thought rainbow!! I know my brain worries me too sometimes!!

This stunning, glamourous, ‘poisonous’ witch is called PRISCILLA  and I thought I would place her on a cauldron. I know that Halloween is now a long distant memory but she’s a witch, what else was I supposed to do with her?!!

I made my cauldron using a snowglobe die turned upside down; the flags cut from a banner die to make ‘feet’ and circle dies to create bubbles!  To make it a little less Halloween I’ve decided that it’s not a potion at all; it’s actually her bath for later!!

Card/Paper: Neenah Solar White – Stash stuff

Colouring: LYRA REMBRANDT POLYCOLOR PENCILS

Colours used: Skin: 92, 89, 31 - Hair: 59, 63, 7– Moon: 82, 83, 27, 9

Reds: 21, 18 - Yellows: 9, 7 - Greens: 59, 63 – Blues: 51, 47

Purples: 38, 39 – Oranges: 15, 13 – Blacks: 99, 98, 96

Background: 37, 38, 39 & 59, 63, 62 - Oh and white too!

Others: Spiders Web - Ribbon
