Digi Choosday Challenge – Traditional Christmas!

Good morning!  Hope all is well with you and yours! OMG it’s 1st December! Just 24 sleeps to go people!! Have you been good? I’m panicking!! J

So as well as it being 1st December it is also Choosday which means it’s time for a new challenge over at DIGI CHOOSDAY and our theme this week is, fittingly, Traditional Christmas!  As always we have a wonderful prize on offer for our lucky winner so check out the BLOG for details and as it is also DISCOUNT DAY you need to grab the code to get a MASSIVE reduction in the POLKADOODLES SHOP! But be quick, the offer is a 24 hour only deal!!

Now what depicts a more traditional Christmas than an image of Father Christmas?  (Well maybe dodgy festive jumpers and last minute panic buying but let’s focus on the positive here!!)  And I have to say that Nikky has drawn the most amazing vintage Santa I have ever seen! Isn’t he fab!!

I decided, for no other reason than I got the wrong card out of the cupboard (doh!), to print my images onto watercolour paper.  A happy accident as it turns out because I rather like the textured result.

Ingredients:
Image, paper, sentiment & poinsettia: PICKNIX 3 – NORDIC WINTER
Card: Watercolour card – Centura Pearl
Dies: Tattered Lace ‘Pin Hole Rectangles’ - Sue Wilson ‘Pierced Flags’
Colours used: Skin: 92, 89, 90, 31 - Hair and Beard: 97, 96, 95 - Fur: 98, 80, 82
Reds: 94, 91, 90, 30 - Greens: 65, 63, 62, 71
Others: Stickles – Pearls – Glitter dots – Ribbon

So jingle all the way over to THE BLOG and join in with our fab challenge.   And don’t forget to visit the STORE  as it’s….

…..so snag the DISCOUNT CODE.  Do it Claus you want to!!! J

Thanks so much for looking and all your kind comments!  Have a lovely day!

See ya!
