We have a
new challenge over on THE PENCIL CASE blog this fortnight
and our theme is More Than One, so

It is a sad
fact of life that sometimes we have to make those difficult cards for people
who have suffered a loss and this is the reason for my make this time. My friend tragically lost her son in a freak
accident on the rugby pitch 10 years ago.
Her bravery and fortitude has amazed and humbled me and I always send
her something to let her know that I remember and am thinking of her.
A simple CAS
design is best suited for this I think and this exquisitely beautiful, ethereal
image, MAGICAL DAISY DANCER speaks of poignant
reflection to me. I have to confess that
on my original version I totally mucked up the background so I decided to cut MOST
of her out and decoupage her onto an uncoloured version…I’m so glad I did! The
original background was HORRIBLE!! J
