Ok, so this is getting silly now as yet again I could not resist using Nikky’s AMAZING new collection WINNIE IN WONDERLAND!! Addiction therapy is looming I can see it! J

The image is actually called HURRY but as soon as I saw her I thought ‘falling’ (as you do) and as Nikky has included a fab ‘tumbling down’ swirl in this collection (not its real name) I digitally matted that onto one of the lush papers and away I went…..or rather away Winnie went down the rabbit hole! J

Have you seen Nikky’s AMAZING new collection WINNIE IN WONDERLAND!! Oh my gosh you NEED it, trust me.  And as soon as I clapped eyes on the fabulous White Rabbit image I’M LATE I knew what I wanted to do with him. I had the idea of giving the impression of him dashing across the card because…well….he’s late.  He obviously needs to get his hands on our discount code! J

I used Word to duplicate, manipulate and then lighten each image progressively to give the illusion of speed and tried to adapt my colouring to match. I’ll let you rate my success on that one. J I then added one of the gorgeous papers behind him…them…whatever!

Digi Choosday Challenge –Add a Sentiment!

So OMG have you seen the brand new collection from Nikky called WINNIE IN WONDERLAND it is totally amazing and I have used it to make my card this week!

This is the stunning RED QUEEN and I have cropped, flipped and rotated her to make her into a playing card.  You do not need a fancy graphics program either as I have created the whole thing in Word. And if you are prepared for a trawl through lots of piccies I have a tutorial to show you below.

The red queen was famous for painting her white roses red but as I didn’t have a rose digi I used this fabulous flamingo instead! J

OK so I’ll show you how I created this image.

Take the image into Word and resize.

Right click and WRAP TEXT then click THROUGH. The image can now be moved anywhere on the page. You can also do this step via the SIZE AND POSITION function as below.

Right click and CROP to the size you want.

Then COPY and PASTE so you now have 2 cropped and movable images.

Select one of the images and go to LAYOUT and FLIP VERTICALLY then also FLIP HORIZONTALLY

Move to the position you want and there you go.

I also inserted one of the cards from the Ephemera section, made that movable too with the WRAP TEXT and THROUGH function.  Resized it then placed it over my image …..

....and sent it to the back.

Now one of my brothers reaches the landmark age of 50 this month and I decided, being the thoughtful sister that I am, to make him a card to remind him what an old fossil he has now become (the fact that I am 14 months older than him is COMPLETELY irrelevant!!) J

I used the fabulous STICKS AND BONES bundle to make a ‘50’ shaped card using the ‘stone’ numbers (a separate download HERE). There are some fabby alphabets in this collection and I also used one, and an ephemera piece, to create the ’50 TODAY'.  I also merged the 'Fossil' sentiment onto the egg digi. Get me!

I do ADORE this little guy and he is called GONE CLUBBING. Nikky draws the most amazingly cute characters, and his hair is awesome. I love his little knickers too (he, he). What is it about the word ‘knickers’ (tee hee) that makes the British snigger? J Anyway, you can also get him as part of a pre-coloured design sheet HERE too if you prefer. Knickers and all!! Ha!
