Delightful Wednesday – April Showers!

Hello there! I’m back again!!

Today it is my turn to post a Wednesday project on the Digital Delights blog and the theme Sandy and I chose for April is April Showers (water related designs).

So for my final April Showers creation I used the gorgeous Mermaid, Seahorse and Starfish that can be bought individually or as part of the fab Under the Sea Set. 

I do love mermaids and there does seem to be a few of them ‘floating’ (!) around blogland at the mo. I went all blue and green with the colouring to match my background which I made using Spectrum Noir AquaTints on watercolour card.
Ingredients:
Images: Mermaid , Seahorse and Starfish
Sentiment: Keeping in Touch Sentiment Set
Dies: Spellbinders ‘Jewel Flowers & Flourishes’ – Tonic ‘Nesting Ovals’ – Tattered Lace ‘Vines’
Paper/Card: Neenah Solar White – Watercolour card - Kraft
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers & pencils – Spectrum Noir AquaTints
Others: Acrylic drops – Liquid pearls

    Wow Jane, this is another amazing creation. Such a beautiful scene and your colouring is amazing, such brilliant shading. Love the look of the aqua tints for the background too. I had a trip to the range last week and managed to finally by a set of the new SN watercolour markers so hope to find time to have a play with those later!! Anyway, I digress, The expression on that little seahorses face is adorable and your die cuts are spot on!! xx
