Digi Choosday Challenge – Week 27: Christmas in July!

Oh Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the……sorry!

Hello!  Hope all is well with you and yours! Happy Christmas!!  It’s Choosday so it’s time for a new challenge over at DIGI CHOOSDAY and can you guess what the theme is? Yes this week it is Christmas in July! (Crikey I haven’t got any pressies or anything!!)  As always we have a fab prize on offer so check out the BLOG for details and as it is also DISCOUNT DAY you must grab the code to get money off in the POLKADOODLES SHOP! Wow it’s like Santa’s been already!! J
Well whilst basking in the summer heat I made an icy Christmas card using the wonderful PICKNIX 2: GINGERBREAD TWIST BUNDLE!  Wow there is so much in this collection that I was spoilt for choice but I knew I wanted to make a diorama/shadow box/theatre card thingy (not its real name) so I used the versatile scene and fun snowlady.
I put my snowlady at an angle so she looked a bit like a Weeble…. you remember those… they wobble but they don’t fall down!!! J

Ingredients:
Snowlady, Scene, Paper & Sentiment Bauble: PICKNIX 2: GINGERBREAD TWIST BUNDLE
Dies/Punches: Couture ‘Winter Flurries’ – Joy ‘Snowflake’ – Tonic snowflake punches
Card: Neenah Solar White
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers and pencils
Others: Crystal glitter- Liquid pearls – Glitter spray

    Laughing out loud!!!! I had no idea they were called Weebles but I totally knew what you were aiming for before I even got to that part. This is a fantastic snowy scene and I love your diaroma/shadow box/theatre card thingy! Why is that not it's real name? I know exactly what you mean!!! :) Excellent project my friend, post hysterical as always. Happy happy day! Y x

    This is gorgeous Jane. I love your design, the scene is so beautiful and the fabulous snowlady Weeble (yes I do remember them). Your colouring is wonderful and all your detailing looks so pretty too.
