Hello, how are things? Me again! Wow you can just reach out
and touch the weekend can’t you, and a bank holiday weekend to boot! Thank
goodness!
I’m here today to let you know that there is a new challenge
starting over on the Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge Blog
and our theme this fortnight is Bingo, and
here is the bingo card!
We are sponsored by
Who are offering a
fabby prize!
As Christmas is a coming (yippee, my favourite time of year)
I decided I had better get my finger out and make some festive cards! And here
is my very first effort of the year! Hoorah!
I chose the middle row of the bingo card, Green, Bow, String, and used one of our sponsor’s
images called Snow
Capped Tree. I printed it twice to go either side of my Paltry Paper-Pieced
door, a mass of rough measurements and slightly dodgy cutting and embossing!
Probably wouldn’t repel burglars methinks! J
I will admit to quite liking my wreath which I made by
cutting up the Tattered Lace ‘Ornate Leaves’ dies and sticking them to a
circular frame! And my coir (ok string) doormat!
Ingredients:
Dies: Tattered
Lace ‘Ornate Leaves’
Punches: Tonic
snowflake
Paper/Card: Neenah
Desert Strom – Bazzill Bling
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum
Noir pencils
Others: Beads in
a Bottle – Flowersoft – Stickles - string, crystal glitter, ribbon & gems
from my stash – sentiment from Hunkydory (I think)
Hopeless Hand
drawings & Paltry Paper Piecing: Everything,
except the trees (and obviously they are the best thing!!)
I hope you will join us, who doesn’t love a bit of bingo. Look
what my clever teamies have done on the blog and play along!
Thanks so much for looking and enjoy your day!
See ya!
Colourful hugs
Jane xx

Words fail me Jane!! What a fantabulously imaginative creation (as usual!), just the sort of door I would absolutely love at Christmas time!! xx
ReplyDeleteWow, Jane this is awesome!!! Love the idea to use the trees like that! I might copy that in the future!
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks like a real door at Christmas time. The depth you have created looks amazing. As always your imagination shows no bounds, you can save this one for me if you want :p have a fab weekend ps. What's a scoreboard lol ;p The exploding box was all done on the silhouette, see how much time it's going to save you and no wonky scored lines because your scorer slipped lol(well that was my problem hehe) hugs xx
