Hello, how are things? Me again!
I’m here to let you know that a new challenge starts today
over on the Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge Blog
and our theme this fortnight is Vintage!
We are sponsored by
the incredible
Who are offering a
fabby prize!
Now I don’t really know how to ‘do’ vintage! But as soon as I saw the gorgeous Lady Hat Bow I had an idea to do a
vintage ‘scene’ so I think that counts!
I decided to make a dressing table and stool using SB Labels
1. I cut a few of differing sizes and
hacked them to bits to make up the various components including the legs! Once
I had inked all the edges, added the ‘mirror’ ovals and stuck it together it
would only fit onto and 8x8” card blank! The whole thing turned into a bit of a
monster!!Ingredients:
Dies: Spellbinders
‘Labels 1’ & ‘Floral Ovals’ – Tattered Lace ‘Ornate Leaves’
Paper/Card: Neenah
Solar White – LOTV ‘Country Lady’ & ‘Timeless Victorian ‘- Kraft
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum
Noir markers and pencils
Others: See-D
stamps (mirror, brush, scent bottle, gloves, vase and folded scarf) – Martha
Stewart paper clay and frame mould - pearls
Paltry Paper Piecing:
Dressing table and stool
Look what my clever teamies have done on the blog and play along!
Thanks so much for looking and enjoy your day!
See ya!
Colourful hugs
Jane xx
