Chocolate, Coffee & Cards – For the Boys!

Hello, how are things? Good I hope!

So today over at Chocolate, Coffee and Cards  our new challenge is For the Boys! So masculine cards if you please! But do remember that we are a CARD ONLY challenge!

Now it was my dad’s 80th birthday at the beginning of the month and he likes cards with humour! So of course I turned to Gus!
He is such a fantastic character and I love the expression on his face! 

Ingredients:
Image & Sentiment: Gus – Birthday Recount
Dies: Sizzix ‘Star Framelits’ – Joanna Sheen Signature Dies ‘Starburst’ – Tonic ‘Dad’ – Tattered Lace ‘Happy Birthday’
Punches: WRMK ‘Corner Chomper Stub’
Paper/Card: Neenah Desert Storm – LOTV ‘Petal Fresh’
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers & pencils – Stormy Sky DI
Others:  Gems – Papermania Chalkboard Speech Bubbles - Chipboard numbers coloured with markers and covered with a glitter spray

    This is fabulous. I adore this card. The image is great, the coloring is wonderful, the layout and embellishments are perfect.
